Often times when one begins doing an activity, one is quite unaware or rather unmindful of the outcomes that can emerge from performing that activity. Perhaps doing that activity only once does not immediately create an astonishing result, but over a period of time it does. This repeated performance of an activity or an exercise is called iteration. Iteration helps one to achieve targets that seem inaccessible.
A good example of iteration and its outcome in real life is the inclusion of exercise at the gym with the intention to lose weight and build muscles. A single session at the gym will not lead to the envisioned outcome. In fact, a week or even a month may not create that vision which one bore in mind before launching the exercising programme. However, a few months down, the line the results begin to show. The outcomes become apparent for all.
Thus, iteration of any activity definitely leads to outcomes, whether desirous or not. Most of the times, the nature of the activity, the method of performing it and other factors determine the characteristics of the outcome.
The law of iteration finds application in the lives of athletes, scholars, researchers, and many others who seek a stable result. One can use iteration to develop a stack, structure and routine for self and the others in any space. An outcome arrived at via iteration is not easily undone, as it has matured gradually over a period of time.
The head of an organisation or a business owner can employ the law of iteration to successfully create the culture of his/her company through activities that are performed by the employees every day without fail. Over a period of time, these small activities repeated daily, leave an impression on everyone who associates with the organisation. Even the new employees become aware of the culture soon, upon joining work. Similarly, brand image and reputation can be built when an organisation and its executives do certain activities with the outside entities repeatedly. Thus iteration creates the brand’s image.
Thus, the law of iteration always works and leads to outcomes and the law can be leveraged in both the professional and the personal sphere of life by all.
